We have received a couple of recent inquiries regarding whether we accept comments to our blog. You will have to bear with me as this blog is just being set up, and I am still getting up to speed on all of the features. I have been advised that you can, in fact, post comments.
The system is set up so that you can post a comment, and then it is forwarded to me as moderator for review, for posting or deletion. This is mostly a safeguard to prevent the spambots from spamming the comments section to death with Viagra ads each night, cluttering the page with nonsense.
In the spirit of setting up this blog as a forum to discuss topics related to Missouri DWI, and issues of drunk driving in general in a meaningful way, I encourage you to submit comments if you choose. Most meaningful posts will be posted within reason, regardless of your position.
A spirited discussion is fine, but anything nonconstructive, anonymous flameouts, or anything resembling namecalling will be deleted. There are numerous other forums on the net for such venting. Comment posts presenting an alternative point of view in a well thought out manner are fine and will be accepted subject to my approval. If we can keep the tone and tenor civil, it will be appreciated. I will strive to do the same. I do, of course, reserve the right to delete whatever I choose without apology.
I would also point out that from time to time it might take a day or two for me to review the comments and post them if I am in the middle of a case, but I will review each potential post as quickly as possible. If you do not see your comment immediately posted, that does not mean it has been deleted, I just might not have gotten to it yet.
If you would like to subscribe to our blog, you can do it in a couple of ways.
If you would like to subscribe by email, you there is a box in the menu area that says “enter your email,” and a service called feedblitz will forward all posts to you by email.
If you are tech savvy, and prefer a direct RSS feed, you can click on the RSS FEED button to “subscribe to MissouriDWIBlog.com,” and it will pull up a feedburner page, which gives you the option of receiving our posts as a direct RSS feed into the newer versions of Internet Explorer, or you may choose a whichever separate newsfeeder you like to receive the RSS feed.
If you choose Internet Explorer for your feed in feedburner, you can click on subscribe to this feed, and it will then place it in your favorite feeds for review when you are on the internet in internet explorer
